Podcasts and players

My current mp3 player is an awesome tool. About the size of my thumb and so light it’s hard to make a meaningful estimate of it’s weight. Nice thing about it is that it is hackable, and with the improved software from Rockbox, this little player becomes a total champ. Everything is configurable: gapless playback, crossfade, user interface controls, everything. The downside for this player is that it has been discontinued, and I am dreading the day that the battery will no longer hold a charge. Rockbox combines nicely with linux to manage content, so openness everywhere. With a commute of an hour or a bit longer, you can imagine that I have ample time to listen. Here’s my current slate of podcasts that get weekly play.
